The Walk of Western Stars, sponsored by the City of Santa Clarita and the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce, began in 1981 to honor the legends of Western film, stage, television and radio who have contributed to America's heritage since 1900.
The Old West comes alive again each year when Western stars are immortalized in bronze and terrazzo tile on the streets of Old Town Newhall.
You won't want to miss this annual tribute to the Silver Spur heroes of the past and present. This year's Walk of Western Stars events include:

Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at SENSES
At 7:30 p.m., the west side of Main Street will hold a ceremony where this year's honorees Academy Award winning actor Lee Marvin, actor Rodolfo Acosta and cowboy singer Stuart Hamblen will be inducted in the Walk of Western Stars. The Walk not only brings life to Western legends by immortalizing them into the streets of Newhall, it commemorates their contributions to Western film history.
